Ir Infrared Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module
IR obstacle avoidance sensor module detects nearby objects using infrared light, ideal for Arduino, robotics, and automatic navigation projects.
IR Infrared Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module:
The IR Infrared Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module is a simple, efficient, and low-cost infrared-based proximity detection module used to detect obstacles and objects without physical contact. It’s widely used in robotics, automation, and IoT systems to enable obstacle detection, line following, and intelligent navigation.
The module works by emitting infrared light from an IR LED and detecting the reflected signal using a photodiode. When an object comes within the adjustable range, the reflected IR light is detected, and the module’s output pin changes state, signaling the presence of an obstacle.
It includes an onboard potentiometer to adjust detection sensitivity and an LM393 comparator for stable digital signal output. The sensor is compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266, ESP32, and other microcontroller platforms, making it ideal for robot cars, automatic doors, and DIY automation systems.
